It’s Pride Month, and I thought I’d help celebrate by posting pics and bios of some of the LGBTQ characters I’ve created for my Lego universe.

This is Danny, Brian, Kevin, and Kurt – two sets of brothers dating each other.

Danny and Brian grew up beach bums. Danny’s now a pro surfer with a bunch of records under his belt and Brian works as a lifeguard on Big Wave Beach. His brother teases him about that and calls him David Hasselhoff, but Brian has saved three people from drowning.

Kurt and Kevin were raised by their father, a Polish immigrant who came to America with nothing and built a successful restaurant. The brothers inherited their fathers’ entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic. Kevin operates an independent motorcycle courier business and delivers pizzas on the side, and Kurt owns a traveling hot dog stand. Both brothers are saving up to start their own restaurant someday.

Kevin actually lives across the hall from me. He’s pretty cool, except he thinks the new Clash of Titans movie is better than Harryhausen’s original. No one’s perfect.
