It’s Pride Month and I thought I’d help celebrate by posting pics and bios of some of the LGBTQ characters I’ve created for my Lego universe.

First up is Maria and Becca. Maria works in the velociraptor paddock at the dinosaur zoo and Becca is a paleontologist who gives tours at the fossil museum next door. You wouldn’t peg these two as a couple; Maria is super athletic and loves wrestling baby ceratopsians. She scrapes dinosaur poop off her boots every night before she leaves work. Becca likes Lovecraft, old maps, Gershwin, and her cats. She prefers the laboratory to the field. On a dig in Utah, her grad students nicknamed her ‘the ghost’ because of the huge amounts of sunblock she wore every day.

They’ll be married in the spring and plan to take their honeymoon on Isla Nublar, assuming there are no major containment breaches.
