It’s Pride Month, and I thought I’d help celebrate by posting pics and bios of some of the LGBTQ characters I’ve created for my Lego universe.

This is Sir Peter Wyman, OBE and Mandy Mimosa. Sir Peter is a wealthy venture capitalist and philanthropist who was awarded the OBE for his generous support of the arts and youth. Mandy Mimosa (born Frank Kazowski) has been a pillar of the Seattle fine arts community since the 70’s, although she is probably best known for her spectacular stage presence and her operatic voice. They met at an art gallery in San Francisco, where Sir Peter purchased three of her paintings.

Tonight they are hosting a fund-raising ball to benefit one of Sir Peter’s charities, an organization dedicated to helping homeless and at-risk LGBTQ youth.
