*chaos intensifies*

Having learned nothing from his first experiment with interdimensional contact, Professor Geryon opens all three portals again.

A crystalline bridge grows from Portal #1, admitting an ever-increasing number shark-men, who seem quite thrilled to find themselves in an alternate dimension – and unexpectedly jovial. Or perhaps their wide, toothy grins are a sign of … hunger?

From Portal #2 spills a tangle of mechanical tentacles, each tipped with an energy weapon of some kind, swiveling on joints and gimbals, struggling to find a bead on the shifting crowd of shark-men. There is a sense of incipient mayhem.

Portal #3 belches a column of white mist, from which emerges … a gigantic yellow duck. The creature seems harmless enough, although it eyes all and sundry with an evaluating gaze. It is certainly large enough to swallow anyone in the room ….
