Brixinit Challenge Number 1!

Meanwhile, in the Melting Forest of the ice moon Greeble-23 ….

Famed xenobotanist Dr. Stephan Brixinit was busy removing ice and snow from the local flora. He was so absorbed in his work, he didn’t notice the silent approach of a Bristleback Catoblepas, one of the little-understood local herbivores. Although Bristlebacks are harmless, their appearance is terrifying, and when startled, they have the tendency to belch copious quantities of poisonous vapors. Alas, Dr. Brixinit laid his helmet aside when he began to work …

With the exception of the baseplate, all the elements in this build are from my first Brixinit box! This was a great treat to find in the mail – lots of new bricks, one of my all-time fav minifigs, some cool building techniques, and a fun challenge! Thanks, @Brixinit! And thanks to @Elemental_Lego for the coupon code!

Any Magic: the Gathering fans out there? Bristleback Catoblepas sounds like a card!
