Adjacent to the Temple of Mulciber is the Lightning Foundry, one of many locations in the city where lightning is harvested from the uneasy clouds that crown the volcano.
The power generated in the foundries powers the many factories and mines of Alhabor. The priests of Mulciber own the foundries and charge the Mage-King dearly for their wares.
This is my variation on the Lightning Foundry from Jeff’s book.
